KDP Professional Development Workshop - October 6th RSVP at kdpxigamma@gmail.com

Teachers: Take Charge of Your Professional Development!
Presenter: Daria Pizzuto

Workshop Overview: NJ teachers (both public and private) are expected to accumulate 20+ hours of professional development. However, PD offered by schools at times does not fit all and could potentially be seen as irrelevant.
Teachers can address this by taking charge of their own personal and professional development.

Participants will be able to learn 10 key strategies to seek out meaningful professional development that is connected to student learning. Being responsible for your own professional development leads to a more confident, motivated, and reflective teacher.

This interactive presentation incorporates active participation of the audience (Please bring your own technology). Novice teachers, seasoned teachers, higher education faculty, school administrators and district PD facilitators are welcome to attend!

Tuesday, October 6th, 6:30-7:30PM (with one hour independent study*)

Jubilee Hall, Room 223

*2 hours of professional development awarded

5 KDP Honor Stole Points

Please RSVP at kdpxigamma@gmail.com
